What is the deal with Joomla and this thing called “Front Page”? What does that mean? Does it mean that if I check that box while I’m posting that it will show up on the front page of my website along with the last blog post I did? Or does it mean that the post that goes on your front page is the “featured” post and that there can be only one? I don’t know. [...]

So far, I’ve been able to install and run both WordPress and Joomla on this system using MAMP. The process wasn’t complicated at all. I haven’t, however, been able to install and run Drupal, and I don’t know why. That really sucks, too, because I really like their platform. I don’t know why, but I can’t seem to get Drupal running on my Mac with MAMP like I do WordPress. All I really want is to be able to write posts and then view my page with Drupal, and it doesn’t seem to want to let me do that.
