Hulu Lowers Its Premium Price
This is why competition is a good thing. If it weren’t for Netflix, Hulu would probably be charging people $20/month to view any of their content from any device at all. As it stands, they’re now only charging $7/month for their premium service. I don’t really understand how they’re having a problem making money. If you don’t pay for the service, you get ads every time you watch an episode of one of your favorite [...]

The Beatles on iTunes
I thought I said I wasn’t going to use this bulky interface to write my blog posts with, but I guess I’m doing that right now. Not that I’m using any of the buttons or anything, but I didn’t have to use the quick post feature this time. I can’t believe it took The Beatles this long to release

Actor’s and Halloween
I wonder what an actor feels like on Halloween. Hey, let’s dress up like somebody else and…pretend…to be…uh….oh for cryin out loud! lol Just sayin… Yeah, I know this was a quick post. But it was something that I couldn’t get out of my head. Now that I’ve written about it, maybe I’ll be able to think about something else. I wonder if they dress up like a character that they want to play but [...]

AT&T Blocks Again
It doesn’t surprise me at all that AT&T would strike a new deal with Apple, in order to remain the sole carrier for the iPhone’s internet access. They want to keep Verizon, or any other carrier, out of the game. As long as there is no competition, AT&T will be as happy as a pig in…some really, nasty stuff. I could keep rambling about this, but that’s all it really comes down to. AT&T doesn’t [...]

To Blog, or to…Blog More
I’ve got to stop thinking about my audience, if I even have one. I can’t concentrate when I do that. I can’t even write a post when I think about what somebody else might think when they read it. It takes me forever just to get out a sentence. And no, I’m not complaining. I just know that I have to have a different strategy than a lot of other people. It doesn’t work for [...]

What Should I Put In My Blogroll?
What should I put in my blogroll? Should I put links to other websites that I visit regularly? Should I put links to other social media websites that I post on regularly; twitter, facebook, etc.? I don’t know. Should I even put anything there right now? Or should I wait? And, if I wait, what is it that I’m waiting for? Maybe I’m trying to wait until I figure out what it is that I [...]

Kanye West Interupts Taylor Swift
Yeah, I know it’s really old news, but I never got around to putting my two cents in. Actually, I hear people quote what he said all the time, and never even knew what they were talking about, because I had never seen it until just now. Yeah, so picture this, Kanye: You’re up on stage, receiving an award for the first time. You never thought this moment would happen. You’ve dreamed about this for [...]

Verizon iPhone
A Verizon iPhone. Wouldn’t that be cool? That would kind of be like a dream come true. I could finally get an iPhone without having to sign my life away to AT&T. Yeah, I know you can get an iPhone now without having to sign a contract. You just can’t use it. Anyway. The iPhone would have more than one carrier, putting an end to the monopolistic business that’s been going on between Apple and [...]

Multiple User Issues
I wonder why, at first, I wasn’t able to run MAMP on multiple user accounts on my Mac. I think it had something to do with the number of databases allowed or something like that. Maybe it just had to do with not having the right files in the right directories in the right user account when you go to create content, or connect wordpress to a database. Or maybe it had to do with [...]

Front Page
What is the deal with Joomla and this thing called “Front Page”? What does that mean? Does it mean that if I check that box while I’m posting that it will show up on the front page of my website along with the last blog post I did? Or does it mean that the post that goes on your front page is the “featured” post and that there can be only one? I don’t know. [...]
